I didn't know the whole back story, didn't see the road kill thread so you got me there. I was just going off of how I saw it, I could careless if you street race, I'm not saying I've never done it and I know there's nothing I can do to stop you or others from doing it, I'd just rather not see the cycle corner being used to set it up and possibly encourage others to start doing the same.

 

I understand where everyone is coming from. I know a few of yall pretty good; others not so much. Its not like we all go out and race every time were on our bikes. I have plenty of people on the site that can vouch for all of us just out cruising around at the speedlimit the whole time. However From time to time we all have a bit of fun on a secluded stretch of road as to reduce the risk of something happening to anyone but myself; same shit I did in my car when I had it.

Everyone is always against it and all that, but I look at it 2 ways. People that are wreckless on a bike all the time (cutting traffic, speeding, stunting, etc) all during heavily traffic times and areas versus a few short runs on a pretty empty stretch of road in the middle of the night on random night.

Everyone has concerns, I dont mind people preaching to me since Ive heard it all before, but it gets old. Ill ride my bike you can ride yours. If something happens to me; im at fault pretty simple way of looking at it.

save all the arguments and just take it to the drag strip or the race track.
that way there's no more excuses for losing.

Looks to me that it is time to schedule a trip to the strip. I think we should do it one saturday or sunday. Maybe 2 or 3 weeks from now. Give everybody a chance to request off if they need too.
