hey I feel the same way. I didnt flame on him. I dont see what the big deal is. He bought a used sti, most of us have bought a car thats been ragged to shit. But hey, if it looks and drives good than there is no problem. He messaged me the price he payed for it, and he got a goddamn good deal for the year and condition of the car. I would have bought it too for that price.

Actually I said what I said because I got annoyed at what this dude was posting up. The whole, you all are teenagers with cool hondas bro, thing is a bit annoying. Now, do those comments really warrant the degree of insulting I went to? Probably not. Is that the vadriven way? Used to be. Do I really wish this dude died overseas? No. Actually if you read the insult the focus was more on the level of respect he would've gotten had that happened vs the level of respect he's getting here. Not that that makes it any better. And finally, I never made mention to his original post because I don't feel the flaming he's gotten is warranted. People buy used/modded cars all the time. I do feel the community should be a bit more inclined to help him out instead of flaming him because he bought a car he doesn't know much about. Somebody has to buy it. Why not it be an enthusiast with a community to reach out to for assistance? Just sayin.
On a more serious note, after being in the sandbox myself and lining the streets of Disney drive ever 3 or 4 days for another fallen comrade ceremony, I would never make that commit about any of our brothers or sisters. Enough bodies have come home in boxes.
