found a cool produce market, we were in Gloucester, so no 7/11s, got couple waters and waited on the truck to come get him.

i rode home in the rain after that, on q3s. and a naked bike. not a bad day in the end tho

 

Gloucester has a ton of 7/11s, over here there's 1, and it's not even 24 hour I was about to ride over, but when you told me the truck was close, I wouldn't have made it. Still had a nice ride by myself. Stupid speeding ticket from yesterday, though. I'm going to fight it, let's hope I win so I can keep my spotless record hah

Sorry to hear bout your buddy's trans eating itself alive. For some reason while i was taking off from the gas station my bike got sluggish as hell but the rpms still climbed like normal, no fuckin clue what the problem was but it kicked itself back into shape after i cracked it open for a good half mile.

 

Somebody offered me a Buell 500 with 5800 miles, and cash on top for my Audi. If I sold that bike, what could I get for it? Apparently it is in perfect running condition and needs nothing.

They are a tough sell imo. There is a red one sitting out in my carport right now that belongs to my buddy karl, was $1000 and came from a harley dealer few months ago with low miles. They did a full service, brand new tires and oil change before it went out the door....for $1000, AT A HARLEY DEALER lol. Just get a dirt cheap Ninja 250 or something if you want a quick starter that isnt hard to flip. i got one for the GF for 700 bucks and than turned around n sold it in less than a month.

He offered me that and 500 bucks when I am asking $4500 for the Audi. I asked politely about the other $2k to make up the price and he went on a typical CL tirade about my car being full of rust and good luck selling it etc. etc.

I bought a Ninja 300 off of a friend, but was just gonna turn around and sell the bike if he offered like 2500-3k in cash.

 

That always gets me rolling, one second they want your car or whatever you are selling, then the moment they can`t get it "oh fuck ur shit its full of rust anyway" or whatever bs they throw out there. As if the item they just tried to purchase is something they would never want.

And fuck the CL argument too. Just because you see people asking dumb amounts for shit doesn`t mean people are actually buying shit at that price.

been riding the r6, only street legal vehicle at the moment. shits fun, and comfortable with the new "dirt tracker" bars. but its just too damn hot, might have to get new regi on the wagon so i can sit in the ac for my 8 minute commute. after about 35 min ride today, my tie (not my shirt) my fucking tie was soaking wet.

im loving the new look tho, and everyone comments on how "racey" it looks, while its probably the most comfortable bike ive ever had.
