It's a great bike for that, you'll need to change the rear sets out or you'll be scraping pegs all day at the track. Mine was a piece of shit so that was it's main problem. It's not as powerful or handle as well as the other 600's out there. I mean, I did well with it for what it was. This year will be dedicated r3 on the track just to get some experience and then have another 600 for next year

Side note the rc still doesnt run. Something fouled up in the electrical while trying to tidy up the rear section. Now i have no digital gauges...fukmeright?

 

Ended up picking up a ridiculously clean SV. Should be great fun around town and maybe a few treks.

I'm figuring I should have the bike checked over by a professional just to make sure I'm not missing anything following the guides on svr. i searched for shop or recommendation but there wasn't much in this thread from the past few years so does anyone have a current shop they recommend in VAB?
