Cycle whore thread
I might take you up on that. I'm chomping at the bit to get some track time under my belt.

I'm riding as much as possible just focusing on technique and trying to not reinforce bad habits. Figuring out if I should look into a MSF advanced course or wait a bit more and look for some sort of HPDE instruction at VIR or whatnot.

Like I said, come with us to the track after you get a little more comfortable riding. Track time is the best experience you can get. My first track day, girl is there, took the basic MSF course the weekend before and bought her ninja 300 that week with no riding experience. It's a great learning experience and a TON of fun.

You can rent them at the track. Find some people around your build and test fit a few to get your size. I think you can try them on at cycle gear. You can find used suits on ebay for CHEAP
Honestly, you can go to cycle gear and get the sedeci for like 300 bucks. Seems to be good for the money if you want new. Great beginner suit. Just make sure you have good quality rubber and quality brake pads, not touring tires
Yeah the pilot road 2s that came with it are fairly new but I was assuming I'd need a setup for the track. Halfway excited for it actually as i'm thinking it's significantly cheaper than a set of 285 hoosiers. Cool about cyclegear, I need to go check out my size. Certainly don't mind used but 300 seems like a decent deal given used prices.
You guys mainly hit up VIR/Dominion? Don't know anything about them but I found N2's site just searching and there's shit going on all the time. I'm fucking stoked.

Get either the Pirelli Diablo 2 and Dunlop q3, both great street/track tires. Prelude driver and I are mostly at NCBIKE. That's the only track I've been to because he's always there and most the time, I needed a ride there. Now that I got my Savana van, we're going all up and down the coast this year. We ride with team promotion. All the track day organizations have their own batch of shit that comes with it
