Leaned too far over at the track, kickstand grabbed and it just shot from under me. Replaced all broken parts for like 200 bucks so not really complaining
Got one on ebay with a small chip for 60 bucks shipped so I jumped on it haha. Was going to just repaint mine black, but just went OEM route for being less time consuming
There is a strange sense of satisfaction pulling the bike into the house for little to no reason other than to stare at it. It`s also hot as hell in my work shed an i need to solder some stuff...
What would you guys recommend as a good, used beginner bike? I keep finding mixed results. I'm not into blazing fast bikes or Harleys and I would be using it for gas mileage since I trek 60+ miles on highway for work. Tired of paying +$100 a week just for gas to get to work. Also I'm looking for a good dependable/reputable one around -$2500 range.
I also saw that height and weight matter for bikes. I'm 6'1 and weigh 185. Iv'e been interested in dual sports or some smaller 500-650cc bikes. Any recommendations are appreciated.
Now adays when i hear starter bike first thing i think of his the Honda Hornet 599. I used to push people toward 250s and 300s but i finally realized that those simply aren`t gonna cut it for everyone. The 599 is mild enough for a beginner while still leaving room for you to expand as a rider without out growing the bike to quickly.
Yeah, if you are doing a lot of highway, through a 300 out the door, trust me lol. The 599 is a great starter bike, also look into sv650/ninja 650/fz07 all great up right bikes
