Acura NSX
And then the ferraris got better and the nsx didn't. I love the NSX, but for someone that hasnt driven one, I don't see the cost to performance ratio being very good.
And to the OP.
Here is the reality of it. If you really really want the car. Go for it. To some, cost is a non-issue when it comes to their satisfaction. To most, satisfaction is relative to cost. The NSX seems to be for the former and it does a good job of that at least. It satisfies its owners and makes them forget that its...underpowered, overpriced, and 15 years old.

Um, I'd say the vast majority of every vehicle ever produce has shitty molded plastics on the interior. Even your precious imports, and especially your Accord.
Leather is poor grade in any vehicle that has it that isn't a luxury or high end car. Even some of those use poor leather.

I think you're missing my point.
Example:
Cobalt (friend has a new one) the dash has a silver trim piece that snaps into place and stretches across the entire front. There are HUGE ugly gaping holes where it doesn't line up. That's no where to be found in my car.
A hard plastic dash vs a foamy vinyl one
etc
And I'm not comparing leather in cars to leather in a house/clothing. Just within cars. Sit in a newer Ford's leather interior and it feels and looks like plastic. Sit in a newer Honda/Toyota's leather interior and it at least looks like leather and feels like leather.
Well there was only a 1sec difference between the NSX and f430 on the Nurburgring....
7:55sec F430
7:56.73 NSX-R

You do know that the NSX-R is like a 200k vehicle?
