Murphy is the motherfucking man, that was the best post I have ever seen, on any forum.

I wouldn't call my R/T underrated, but I guess trying to make a 4000lb brick go fast is different.

If yall haven't noticed, I don't care if you don't like the car. Everyone has made that pretty clear. I am trying to get along with the people on here but yall make it pretty difficult. As for my slow time of 9.2, I totally agree. That was the car running on barely any boost though because of the wastegate. Also, on my car the wastegate being open is not a good thing. You lose boost that way. You keep your boost when it is closed. So not all turbos are that way? I am asking a general question, not being a smart ass. With the Haltech & my 3bar I am capable of much more boost than that though. I have also fixed my wastegate issue so I see more than 3-4 psi now. I am still missing a nice turbo manifold...

 

not everyone is going to like your car, so its a good thing that you dont care. This forum just takes a certain attitude that you havnt learned yet, but if you stick around, maybe youll figure it out. You just came off as if your car was better than most peoples. I prpbably just had it backwards with the wategate thing, but i dunno. I had an internal wastegate while most peopl have external wastegates.

 

Wastegates all work the same. Either they're closed, and no exhaust energy can bypass the turbo, or they're open and some or all of the exhaust energy can bypass the turbo.

 

Fair enough Chris. I didn't mean to come off that way if I did. Looks like I graduated a bit. No more trial member, LOL. Anyways, as soon as the site allows me to post my pics, I will post some as I said I would.

So Chris, is that a 1st gen or 2nd gen Probe? Pics? Did you turbo a 6 or is the 89 turbo probe with mods? Just curious...
