I'm not generally into drag racing, so my wheel choice is because of a) looks b) handling but since you guy are one track minded (and only like drag cars) i TRIED to put in in persective for you.

stock wheels still get the job done, tires are a different story.

I prefer to look stock as a sleeper on the road but be able to back it up with some HP.

Have 3 sets of wheels. Stockers with good everyday tires that I prefer to take to the road courses cause I can hear them before they let loose. Drag slicks, no tires yet on the skinnies though. A set of nice wide ones for show that I keep clean and purty.

thats why i said wheels AND tires... However, aftermarket wheels with correct fitment will "get the job done" A LOT better than stock especially in a road race/ mountian type driving situation.

I agree. But you put it in a dragracing situation in which the stockers will suffice. That is unless they are 20inch dubs.

Out of curiousity what would you reccommend as a good "drag" wheel for a maxima?

Hard to say... opinions differ on wheel style. But, I htink it was pretty obvious to everyone that the wheel he pictured looked cheap.

Yes it does, just curious what type of wheels are good for fwd dragracing. Back in the day the gs-t wheel of choice was an oem 3rd gen rx7 wheel.
