Maybe a little scrub at full lock, but with the same back space, it's equal for both sizes. I'm gonna search to see if I can find a pic of what I think the 12's will look like...
Here is the same dimension wheels on a 2500, I cant post the pics right now

they stick out about 4-5 inches. I on the fence on how I feel about that, but I think It looks niceish.if I could find a nice 18x10 wheels with a 4.5 backspacing I would be happy. But It is hard to find with my lug pattern of 5x5.5

I am not to concern about front end parts as my Father in law owns a shop and will give me a break. I am more concerned about trans issues stress on that down the road. But like I said, I do not drive it to much.

The current wheels on it are 20x9.5 with 33" on it and that is stock. I would not think that the wheels would add that much more weight, but I would probably be surprised.

That's not to bad, but it's about the limit for my personal taste.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking. It is not horrible, And the tires pictures in that one are 33, 35 would make it look a bit better I believe.

Dodge has coil springs up front, so the back space isn't quite the same issue as a truck with leaf springs up front. Mine have 4.5" back space, my old ones had 5"....that 1/2" caused the tires to scrub on the leaf springs at full lock. It would be less of an issue with Dodge's coil springs.

I figured I might rub on full lock out, but I felt that was not that big of an issue.

Did it cause much of a problem for you?

It only scrubbed when making a u-turn. Some of it was tire choice (TSL's with their big shoulder lugs). A tire with less aggressive shoulder lugs would minimize the scrubbing as well.

My friend has a 2500HD with 5" lift 18x10's.. 4.75 back space, 35" Toyos M/t's...it doesn't scrub.Basically teh same lift/ tire size you are looking at..

The back space is the cause of the scrubbing...where the tire sweeps while turning. It's usually the rear of the tire on stuff to the inside/rear of the fender well.

A 4.5 backspacing would make the wHeel stick out more correct? So the 20x12 with 4.75 would stick out about as far as a 18x10 with 4.5 backing?
