i appreciate it. my neighbor factory ordered both of them.
the 68 was just under $3700 new. 360 2v, 4x4, 4.10, 4 speed w/ granny low. now its a 390 2v, mild modifications, about to be 4v swapped. Manual steering. 1 ton rear suspension with an extra leaf and HD Bilstein Shocks all the way around. Drum brakes on all four corners, no power brakes.
the 79 was just over $10000 new. 78k miles. It was ordered XLT Lariat package 400M 2v w/ C6, 9" Posi with 4.10 gears. It has the factory AM/FM plus the add-on 8 track. A/C, P/S, Tow Package with an extra leaf, and Super Cool (Ford's Heavy Duty Cooling Package).
Can't hardly afford to drive either one, but I'll never part with them.

oh i dont think i posted my latest purchase.....
carmax gave me more than what i owed on the Fiesta and i rarely drive here so i figured that i'd pick up a beater (since i'm not home to buy Donkey Punches Ford)
nada value is $8500
i paid $6,000 for it.... brand new 31's on stock suspension, 5spd, cold AC, all maintenance records, and original owner... i really cant complain to much...... it'll do until i PCS outa middle of nowhere TX and i'll buy another Diesel.

Be a boss and do the Jeep diesel swap from the Canadian XJs....and change those wheels lol

honestly guys... this jeep is just a beater for a little while.... i want an 08+ super duty crew cab, short bed, 4.5 inches of lift, 35s, etc... and i want to build it 100% myself...
