Yes there's been people doing this kind of shit (stretched tires/poke/fixed gear bikes/tight pants/v-necks) for a long ass time. It just happens to be cool to a lot of people right now that it wasn't like....6 months-a year ago.
I just thought I was pointing out the obvious with Duffman's 83 Corolla. I think those cars can look cool, but when I see pictures like the one posted it seriously just looks like someone was trying WAY too hard to achieve the current trendy status.
That's exactly what I said, lol. Its the same thing as tight pants, those 1960s style sunglasses, and v-neck shirts 'everyone' has now. Its a trend and hipsters are running the automotive trends at the moment.
