Re: Anyone know someone who does concrete work?
My new driveway addition thanks to all the concrete guys falling through again:
Behind is the reason for the extension, the wife's new/used Pilot.
The wet look
"loose" bricks due to the driveway curve
"tight" bricks as the driveway doesn't curve that much by the house
Overall it took about 100 man hours, 6 trips to a constuction site (for illegal dumping purposes), 7 trips to Home Depot (for buying and returning excess), and my buddy Ethan's Dodge pickup truck. The wavyness of the extension is due to our matching the wavyness of the driveway. We could have made it 100% level, but water would pool there and it would accentuate the wavyness of the driveway, so we voted on following the line vs. being "perfect". The edge bricks were my idea, one can of rattle enamel by Rustolem = blingy edge bricks.
