currently have the rear half of the bike removed. servicing as much as possible while its apart. Bought a Kreem kit to re-line both of the tanks, then we should be good for total reassembly...

Hello. I'm new to this community, and I just bought my 1983 honda shadow vt750 just this morning! now i'm at work and can't play with it. It needs some work, not gonna lie. But cosmetically, there are some things I want to change. First of which being that passenger seat. I really don't like the way it looks. I've never done any kind of cosmetic changes on motorcycles before, and I want to know as much about getting that seat changed out as possible. We'll just start there for now. Thank you!

You`re new and you don`t sound like a kid so i won`t roast you for posting in a 3 year old thread but you may have better luck trying a bike specific forum for that sort of thing, Other than that welcome to the site and grats on the new bike.
