yea this is insane... i called tucker rocky and gave them advice on needing to get their shit straight, not that they care
but i got it 2nd day air from sprocket specialist who have never made a mistake in my dealing with them, its more money and 2nd day air was expensive but i'll take care of that... but heres what happened for thos unaware
ordered it from parts unlimited, it listed it as a 2000 ZX6 Ninja, its like huge, call them and reference the part number, turns out its for the E model, not the R, but why would they bother to differentiate the two in their catalog, they give me the correct part # for the R model, get it in, this one was correct except that Tiki now finds out the previous owner changed out to a 520 chain... call parts unlimited, they say they don't make such a sprocket, so i pull out the Tucker Rocky catalog right next to it and right there in bold print it says "520 conversion sprocket, 00' ZX6R", get it in, package says the same thing, 520 size sprocket for zx6r, compare it to the one i got from Parts unlimited, exact same fucking sprocket... call tucker rocky and say can you tell me what this part # is? "thats a 520 sprocket for a 98-02 600 ninja" oh really, well i just put it on a 520 chain and there is no way in hell it will fit, but goes right into a 525 like clockwork, they are like well sir i don't know... so i call JT directly, give them the part # and sure enough they say "thats a stock replacement sprocket, 525", we don't make a 520
and in the midst of that absyalone drove all the way from NC to deliver a sprocket to him only to find out it wasn't a front he needed, i called every dealer in town and every person i know and no one has one... i think the gods are trying to tell you something haha

Just some of the headaches you have to deal with when buying a used, modded bike.
My only question is this: really the only two reasons for changing to a 520 is either you went up in teeth on the rear sprocket or it's a track bike. Using a 520 on the street with the stock rear is only gonna use the chain/sprockets up faster than a stock one would.
So again; why did the previous owner change it?
