Plaza Azteca

Re: Plaza Azteca
There's one open in that West Hampton (or whatever its called... "new" shopping center off 288 and Midlothian Turnpike) shopping center. My sister and brother in law took me there once, it was actually pretty good. If I remember right, the prices weren't that bad either.

Re: Plaza Azteca
just saw this thread before it disappeared off the first page
they are across Broad St from where I work - so I go occasionally for lunch
pretty much everything is a step up from the usual Mexican chain restraunts
the fresh guac is def a nice touch
avoid their seafood though - definitely frozen and old
I go most often to:
El Caporal
1417 E Ridge Rd, Richmond, VA - near regency square mall
Cheap AND good - homemade chorizo, amazing carnitas, and they actually use spices - get the Tacos Machos and you'll see what I mean.

It's like 2-3 minutes from me.... We like it. I have it about once every two to three weeks when FSTWINO comes over with his clam.

This here is a true statement. The last two times Kelli and I went, we both had intestinal discomfort to be polite. Several times previous were great. Two consecutive problems, no longer a place for me to frequent. El Caporal is great and El Paso at Cox and Three Chopt is pretty good.
