E30 Build

Re: E30 Build
Haha, I have a Nikon D40. I just didn't have it with me. And yeah, I'm gonna work on the trunk later on after work. I'm also going to try and go cut/ pick up some rear fenders and the tail light panel tonight.

Re: E30 Build
I looked online and they didn't have any in the inventory I saw. Anyway, I got the rear end off of an E30 up in Maryland. I also got a free hood, tail lights, and the guy gave me 2 bottlecaps because he couldn't figure out how to change the wheels off the wrecked one onto his new one.

Re: E30 Build
Very late night on Thursday. Went all over Maryland and Northern Virginia. Paid 100 dollars and had a friend drive me since I found him some free STi stuff. Anywho, onto the pics. Oh and also imagine all of this packed into the back of a 09 WRX hatch, it was beyond packed.
Here are half of the rear quarters and the rear "tail light panel" all cut up ready to go.
He also threw these MINT tail lights in, since there was a little bit of rust on the rear.
Owner of the parting E30 couldn't figure out why he couldn't change wheels (hubcentric rings were caught on there). So since I took off the wheels and swapped them over, he gave me 2 bottlecaps for free. You can also glimpse my friend's STi axleback he also got for free.
Also, I found a guy giving away an E30 hood for free (pealing pretty bad).
Oil drain pans I got for free from a guy in Madison Motorsports. Friends STi's springs and midpipe. In the box is the downpipe/uppipe also.
Hopefully I can find some time to start doing this body work, or find someone to help me. Overall this trip was a huge success in getting a lot of random parts.

Re: E30 Build
Maybe next time you can drive it, if my brother hasn't let you already.
Haha, yeah! I got this about a month ago. And I'm telling you NASIOC has the goodies, you just have to know where to look (cough NASIOC MAIC classifieds). And thanks Shanna, I'm trying to figure out what SCCA SOLO class I'm going to run it, and if I can get this car done in time for school.
