Re: Paint Shop ?
I’m starting to think I should make the trip across the river to Hampton and talk to Duane at Affordable Automotive. I would have liked to have had it done a little closer to home; but, I want it done right this time and don’t want to spend too much.
Thanks for the input.
Has anyone had any paint done by Sigmabond’s family (Jon’s Costom Paint)? How did they do?

He was quoted at $850 and 4 days time in shop at a shop in VB, so I PM'd Duane. He beat the quote, came in $200 cheaper and did the repairs in half the time.
Go see him.

Is Barry at Nansemond Auto Body a black guy that does / did own a Nissan Z junkyard?
Also the only answer to this question is nftunatn. I was pretty much sold on him when I saw that green car he painted a while ago

Re: Paint Shop ?
Some idiot gave me negative rep for this thread today and said “Stop posting about it and do it”. I’ve only posted twice about this, once when I started the thread on 1/5 and again to say thanks for the advice on 1/6. Idiot (think Napoleon Dynamite).
I’ve been working on the spoiler. Sanded off the paint job Macco put on it and sanded through the factory paint to the bare black plastic. I think it looks pretty good in black. I’m going to polish it up a little more and leave it black plastic for awhile. Maybe I’ll get tired of the way it looks later and have it painted; but for now, no paint shop needed. Thanks for the information anyway, sooner or later I will need something painted.
