I dunno how City of Virginia Beach hands out jail sentences regarding high speed cases, but I know from personal experience that Fairfax and Arlington Counties, which have a reputation in VA has being the two harshest penalty givers in the Commonwealth for driving offenses, with a good lawyer will suspend your license for 6 months and throw you in jail for every MPH you do over 90, and suspend larger jail sentence. Under these typical circumstances up in NOVA, you're probably looking at anywhere in the $350-800 fine range, 6 months license suspension, and 8 active days in jail with possibly a larger sentence being suspended.

Get a good lawyer in that area, calibrate your speedometer, goto driver improvement classes and aggressive driver classes BEFORE court, do what your lawyer says, and good luck.
