Thanks. We're not crazy. And ps90 has a good point. Injectors won't necessarily last long trying to push a lot of hp...but you could, technically, get away with a lot of boost on a smaller turbo! For instance, a small variety of the TD04 family might easily achieve 18+ lbs of boost on the motor, and still only make 210-215 hp....So....

psi is an irrelivant number without knowing the cfm of the turbo used.
whp is a more accurate number, and it is ~146.304 whp. well according to the math. so whatever turbo you use, keep cranking the boost till you hit the whp provided. this will keep you to a 80% duty cycle @ 40 psi of fuel pressure (i.e. stock fuel pressure @ WOT in N/A form).
of course you can turn up the pressure and crank on the cycle till you get to 100%, and make more power. but the injectors will not last very long, and more then likely fail right when you need them.

That can cause detonation, and destroy the motor. That turbo is sized very poorly for a stock fuel system, stock B18 motor, at any boost level!

Its not about the build its the tune that matters. As long as the tune is correct the engine will be fine on 8 to 10. I know guys that are running stock internals and are at 15 and drive them everyday all day long. Hell when Brian was alive he was running 24 on a preaty much stock Type R.

The tune won't matter if he is on stock injectors. That seems to be the main point here. The O.P. asked how much boost he could run stock injectors wich realy isn't much to tune with anyways.

I stated already, with the right size turbo, and a proper tune, you could push upwards of 20 psi on stock internals, with stock injectors. Read the thread. It's not that long. But, it all depends on the turbo, the HP at a given PSI, etc.
Tune is very important. Any knock at 300 hp will pretty much kill a stock internals Honda motor. A realistic goal for stock injectors, stock internals, would be about 20-25% above stock HP levels. Anything over that, and you'll require more fuel management than a piggyback, like an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, which, in turn, with high pressures, will cause injector failure at a rapid rate. Again, something already pointed out in the thread.
