Ufc, that's what I was afraid of. Village is quite a hike, but I'll keep them in mind, they do carry the Vulcan S

Appreciate all the suggestions so far guys. Has anyone had experiences with those bikes? Or maybe have a friend that has? I got a few months time so it's not that serious, just planning ahead .

Totally forgot, Mattnthehatch/DAAANG (not sure what his screenname is these days) is the social media manager at Cycle World in VB, forgot all about that.

Definitely try to link up with him and I'm sure he can help you out. I think he does have some sway with the salesmen there.

Aside from working with him, I really wouldn't choose to give my business to any local dealers.

Edit: https://www.vadriven.com/forums/memb...tnthehatch-68/

He hasn't been on in a while evidently. If you're serious down the line I can put you in touch with him, we're friends on FB/Advrider/in real life lol.

Sure man, I'll wait til I'm closer to a purchase before that. I don't want to waste his time right now, but I'll take you up on the offer later this summer

Damn went through and read all the Google reviews of these local places. Looks like I'll just wait til I save up my toy fund to pay cash for something used. Tons of horrible experiences. And plenty saying bikes were priced over msrp

I payed MSRP for mine from Cycle City. The problem around here is they all know that if you won't buy it at MSRP or higher some guy fresh off of deployment will because he has a fist full of cash and doesn't care about getting a deal.

Also, if you are going to buy something used and it is anything other than a sport bike or a Harley, be ready to travel. It seems those are the only things for sale around this area. I had to go to Fayetteville NC for my SV1000N and Charlotte NC for my first bike, a GS500E.
