since nobody else asked, how are you doing the compression test? any signs of detonation?

Compression test was being done @ my house with (don't know tool names) the style that threads into spark plug hole with hose connected to a gauge. Cranking it over a couple times while the gauge climbs til it stops.
Shad checked my timing belt job and says it was done correctly (thank God). ALL timing marks line up 100%.
I believe he did a leakdown and found that air is escaping from exhaust. Head was pulled, then valves, and no bent valves were found.
Then he flipped the head over (valve side) and sprayed some cleaner into the chamber/pit (*sp whatever) and looked to see if cleaner would sink/seep through valves... it didn't if I remember correctly.
I believe 2 lifters were really stiff, hard to push down.

Yes, still using the same HG... Cometic HP. Rings are also fairly new, 19 miles with block.

I'd think, but to be honest with you... I'm not very engine savy and I've been trying to soak up as much info. as possible these past months.

Which is why they're both in my sig for Citium2012 (whenever I'm able to log-in). This engine was originally owned by UltraVtec757 (Ryan) who was to put it in his 95GSX but sold the car, then sold me the engine which had ZERO miles and was sitting @ Abacus.

A bad valve adjustment can mess with your compression results. I also believe that your rings may not have set in completely so that can also affect comp. numbers aswell (that can explain why the leakdown test showed signs of leakage thru the exhaust). my .02 goodluck

Not fixed yet, Shad wants Seth to take a quick look over the head and make sure it's all good before I bolt it back on. I also think he mentioned bleeding down the lifters too. This would be the funniest thing if one or two lifters was the cause although it'd be another thing I would've learned .

Yeah j4k3, this car will be sex when it runs I promise, lol.
