no worries dude.
There are lots of dealers that sell aurora bearings in the states, and they're some of the best in the industry. Of course there's cheaper specs and manufacturers, but the quality goes way down. I'd stay with aurora or NHBB.

http://www.aurorabearing.com/
They've got catalogs in PDF format on there ranging from aircraft/mil spec stuff which is really good but still not very expensive, all the way down to commercial stuff.
http://www.nhbb.com/
new hampshire ball bearing. again, very widespread use across lots of motorsport.
you can find individual dealers that sell rod ends, too. I really recommend coastfab: http://www.coastfab.com they are very knowledgeable and will talk you through most anything, and also aircraft spruce:
http://www.aircraftspruce.com/ which is generally an excellent supplier of any high grade fasteners or raw materials, but also good with bearings.
Buying from a dealer/ distributor will get you the parts faster than from the supplier.

Heim Bearing is one of the companies that makes rod ends.. Calling it a Heim joint instead of a rod end is like saying "Kleenex" instead of "tissue".
There needs to be a jam nut to keep the male/female from rotating inside each other, the threads will get damaged if you don't and they'll also rotate and bind outside their range of motion.
That's a pretty ghetto way to make end links, but whatever works. Usually there is a threaded coupler and the rod ends on each end are right-hand and left-hand threaded so you can change the drop link length without unbolting it one end of it.
But yes, you really need a jam nut to go on the male-threaded rod end.
By the way, you can buy complete end link sets for pretty cheap, just look anywhere online that sells sway bars for that car.

I was an aviation mechanic for 20 years and we always called them "rod ends".
However now that I work in the racing world...I have to get use to calling them "Heim joints"
Wikipedia
A rod end bearing, also known as a heim joint (N. America) or rose joint (U.K. and elsewhere), is a mechanical articulating joint. Such joints are used on the ends of control rods, steering links, tie rods, or anywhere a precision articulating joint is required. A ball swivel with an opening through which a bolt or other attaching hardware may pass is pressed into a circular casing with a threaded shaft attached. The threaded portion may be either male or female.
Either way...Fabrik8 bet me to it!

Welcome to the party!
You're agreeing with someone who wrongly accused someone else of being wrong. What does that make you?
Sorry, that was a little heavy handed.
