That's not because of a bad headunit. It's a safety feature to make sure you don't burn up the internal amp in the headunit.

it turned out to be my alternator. it couldnt power everything. so i can scratch that off the list. but the sony xplod is still probably the worst head deck iv ever gotten. since it was free i guess i cant complain.
