Disclaimer: Sorry for the size of the pics, I tried resizing, deleting and reuploading, but they stayed that size.
Got a custom two piece rotor (technically 3 main pieces, and lots of small ones scattered on track) in T4 on my first hot lap, first session on Friday. The rotor broke and clanged around in my wheel well on the wheel on the way back to the paddock, caliper was dangling by the brake line, tie rod end got crushed, bottom of control arm took some hits, and the wheel well got chewed up pretty good:

Further aftermath. The caliper got hit so hard, it bent the tab on the knuckle before it failed itself:

We tried using washers to space the caliper so it would line up properly, but the bend was causing the caliper to touch the rotor when we snugged it down.
Carlos of AutoDynamix to the rescue! We had him grind down the tab so it was parallel to the bottom on again.

We used the washers again to space the caliper correctly. Worked like a charm.

And back together just in time for the last (my first/only timed session on Saturday):

I took a bunch of pictures Sunday from around the paddock. I'll post those as I upload them (and have a smaller, more screen friendly size).

How was the flagging? Did you work basically the entire day, or did you go out for certain sessions? How many days do you have to flag before you get comp time for track time?

MSP608 - that sux...we did find some interesting things on the track. had a catalytic converter shield come off a mustang and had a k&n engine filter come off a mustang as he was braking...still don't know how that happened. almost had a ground hog get run over on the back straight also
