I think you mean CSP and its full of well prepared miatas and its a very difficult class. but i hope that doesnt scare you as you will have a fun time no matter what. Get there a little early to watch the morning session and you will understand how it is run by the time you get to run in the afternoon.

My T/A's tail light is full of water does that mean I need to drain some "blinker Fluid"? Who would have known?

Sure, sure, the real reason you like lots of novices to show up has nothing to do with padding the bottom of the pax list, right?

Also, that fisheye lens makes ACU4 look freakin' HUGE!
Here's a video I took April's course with my cell phone camera. Was shorter than most courses, but still a fun one:

Stringer posted this last season. Should play, even on NMCI computers:

For novice class, your class (NCSP) matters only because of the handicap system used in the scoring. So, when you get your timeslip, you'll see both your raw speed and your "PAX" speed- your PAX will be compared against that of other drivers in drastically different cars. If you post back with some more details of your car and all the mods you've done to it, we may be able to help you class it better. (Classing is mostly self policing, and don't worry if you do discover you should be in another class- accidental misclassing is as much a novice tradition as getting lost on course!) It really doesn't matter a whole lot as very few novices are trying to be competitive- it really is all about having fun, and you're almost assured to have fun regardless of how you do

Now, next year you'll be in CSP class against some rather fast drivers- but that's a good thing and far better than being the only guy in your class. The other option is street tire class, which is scored a lot like novice class, only it's experienced drivers on street tires vice r-compounds.
