There's also the newer pilot power 2ct's. Stands for 2 compound technology, harder rubber in the middle for increased life, but softer on the sides. What can I say? I'm biased. All the tires you picked are decent tho.

You know, Tiki was telling me something about the 2ct's not being that good. Something about the center of them not warming up that fast, which would make sense though for a slightly harder compound that increases wear life. Most of us dont get to go through as many turns as we'd like, so they'd seem like a good choice to me. I touched the regular Powers and I can say they are extremely soft tires when not warm, so confidence in turns wouldnt be a problem, but tread life might be.

I had the Metzler M1's on my first bike, and i can say without any doubt that those were some good ass tires for the price i payed. Fast to warm up, good tread life, and they handled great. I have no doubt that their M3s will handle just as nicely, but i have noticed that because their reputation is climbing that their tires are getting a bit more pricey.

Its like most have said, its really a personal preference. I'd say choose between Mich and Metz.
