Re: wheel and rim repair
After the 2 week repaint period, my wheels were still at the shop waiting for paint, so I picked them up.
I'll give the guy some credit though - I was ready to negotiate a "settlement", but he decided to let this one go - no charge.
Of course, now I have to find someone else to do them right.
If you want your wheels repaired correctly the first time and in a reasonable amount of time, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Re: wheel and rim repair
You should be thanking them . A business being upfront and real about their abilities to fix your wheels is better then saying they could do it and have it look like crap and you being upset afterwards. If someone cant lift a truck up with their pinky finger are you going to be pissed at them for being honest ?

Re: wheel and rim repair
I took them the wheels, told them what I wanted, and they took the job. They had the wheels for well over a month, did a shitty job, and you say I should thank them? Are you jackin' me? If they were up front, they would have turned down the work from the get go, not wasted my time.
Your pinky finger analogy is way off. If you're a wheel place, then be able to do them right or don't even try (or call yourself a wheel place). Anything less is false advertising.
I went with Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists and they did a great job.
