Re: Anyone wanna help me change the headgasket on my talon?
Im in Newport News, and hell yeah I got beer. Lots of beer. I heard the hardest issue of taking the head off is with the timing belt and tensioner I guess. And Im not sure of the gasket that is on it now. Its a new 6bolt block with a new head. Whoever had the car before me put some time and money into it the engine itself before the tranny blew.
Me and Devan put a tranny in it. Once I get this whole blown head gasket issue fixed, then comes a new ECU, DSMLink, Exhaust and FMIC and ill be all set. Also maybe some 600cc injectors.
But yeah those are my plans. But if anyone is really interested in helping me, I would appreciate it. I am lacking tools which is the main reaosn I hadnt started on it yet. Im nervous because I know I am lacking in the tools area.

Joe is helping me do it. Its almost done infact. Head is actually on just waiting on the battery to be charged and a few hoses/belts to be connected. Oh yeah, Joe is RandomTask on here.

Now that I can read, hope she runs well for you. Did you go with an OEM headgasket and head studs?
