Sorry, not all advice, input and feedback is going to be positive.

Especially when the car in question is about on par with a Honda economy car...except it breaks down more often and costs more to fix.

The only advice you'll get from VW owners is to bag it, put some 205 tires in a 17x11" wheel and most importantly, get a German license plate.
