What perks are you looking for? (Garage, Pool, Pets)

The only reason people are giving you shit outside of your just awful spelling, is that your question is so broad nobody can give you good advice. Nobody really looks down on people in apartments, at least you are out on your own.

Specific areas? Im not too particular on the area, Id like somewhere in virginia beach or chesapeake since they are the nicer areas on this side of the water and i dont want to deal with the tunnel traffic.

How much are you willing to pay a month? not looking to spend more than $1200 a month for a 1 or 2 bedroom place

Family? just me and my g.f no kids or pets etc...

Utilities included? not stuck on utilities being included since most of the places i have looked at dont include any but a place that includes some or all would be better

What perks are you looking for? I'm looking for a nice area and a washer and drier in the unit are a must, I would perfer a place that has a garage or one on the premises that you can rent, and i like the places that offer patios or balconies if you are on a higher floor.

I mean a safer neighborhood and good surroundings, somewhere outside of the ghetto. I know crime can happen anywhere but Id like to be in a place that its less likely. Im not looking to spend more than $1200 but even it would have to be a very nice place. Ill check out your post, I may PM you about it.

i have looked at forrent.com, apartment guide and the apartment book, but i was more looking for experiences that people have had at these places because none of those websites or books are going to tell you that the place is full of bugs, or the staff blows, etc.. thanks for the input though man.

Holly Point in Chesapeake.

Close to Greenbrier Mall and close to 64 as well. Its pretty central to everything. I've lived here for about 2 years now and haven't had a single problem. I have water included. Washer/Dryer etc. There is a security guard from 5pm to 5am. There is zero crime that I know of. Nice little feature is they have a car wash place in the community.

My rent is a little over $1000 a month and has only gone up $50. That's for a 2bd/2ba. Plus if I refer you, I get $500 off my rent and so do you.

Hope this helps.

If your price point is 1200, you should say heck with an apartment complex and look at townhomes for rent.
