Quick Question: Lowering Springs...
dude the problem with the first set up is that your adjuster sleve has to be down where the old spring holder was(the big round part that sticks out), i had the same problem on my and i just grinded it down a little and it slides right down....and it that doesnt lower it enough then cut the old spring holder off and weld a ring around the strut on even places on all fours so your sleve can rest on there and it should work
Yea... Umm... let me think about that... ummm... NO! I bought those springs because they said they would work with the stock struts or regular aftermarket struts that were the same size as the stock one... THAT WAS FALSE!
I went ahead an ordered some different lowering springs that are much wider and will actually fit in that spring holder (the big round part that sticks out) - $105, and they're not adjustable...o well.
Still waiting for response from the other eBay guy, cause i WANT MY $$$ BACK!!!

i know man mine said the same thing but if you read the fine print it says some may need modification.....i was highly pissed but with a couple quick thinking friends and my passion to cut shit with angle grinders we got it done
Yes you get what you pay for, for the most part. I wouldn't buy ebay "special" suspension parts ever. Go to somewhere like optioinsauto.com, overboost.com, etc. Someplace with a good reputation and selection (as well as customer help). Imo if you just want to lower your car for appearance get some lowering springs w/ adjustable shocks/struts (im no expert). Or get a complete "basic" coilover set. The complete sets usually always cost more. I wouldn't buy cheap shit like you posted the first time because they are dangerous and Ive seen shit break before. Just my honest $.02
DO NOT BUY CAR PARTS FROM EBAY PERIOD. ebay is a fucking highway for scammers and cheap products. think about it. maybe you want to order an SSautochrome turbo kit while your at it. you'll learn one day. we all have.
a couple of sites I can vouch for that have excellent customer service, delivery time, quality products.

Yea...that was the problem though... I could find everything on eBay, but I could not find many other places that had parts for my car, especially being a Nissan Maxima... I did however buy my ADR rims off ebay for like $500 after shipping, and they're holding up pretty well with all these damn pot holes... especially on I-64... And my Tokico adjustable struts... well, those are just being re-sold... Is it OK to buy things like that, when it's a well respected brand name and they're just being sold by some retailer?
But thanks for the sites... I'll definitely put them in my Favorites...

Honestly, NO. it is possible to fake brand name parts. it really isn't that hard. think about a spring or a strut. they basically all look the same. heres a good example. http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1301590
your better off staying away from ebay. I got a set of ROta's from ebay one was bent, tire wouldn't balance out so, that $100 I saved went right down the fucking toilet. Learned my lesson. the only thing I would use ebay for would be buying used parts from someone who is parting out a vehicle.
just remember %99 of the time You get what u pay for in this world and you fell into that %99 when u bought the ebay coilovers.
save up for these

OK...OK...OK
I learned my lesson... I promise to do it no more. 5 years in purgery for me... Well, maybe the headache of getting this crap stuff, and then realizing it wouldnt work AFTER I got it on, is punishment enough, and then having to put all my stock stuff back on in the rain yesterday... lol
