They're easy to convert though, and it doesn't have to be chipped. By the way, if you have a D15B, you need to use an O2 sensor that will work with a P28, the D15 uses a P08 ECU and the O2 sensor isn't heated.
he has a chipped manual p28 as well. i just gave him the auto p28 to see if it helped his problem any

Yeah i have the 4 wire o2 sensor for the p28, how can you tell a p28 is for auto or manual are there any numbers or marking that designate it?
The first p28 that mike gave me throws the cel instantly when the key is turned on and the code that kept coming up was #9.
So mike got me another P28 and i pluged it in and no codes on the new one.

Thanks for callin chris....lol yeah oops!!!

I got double posted because of the server problems.. =)
I don't remember which number P28s are autos, it says in the P28-xxx on the outside sticker. P28-A51 and L51 are auto, and P28-A01 is manual. There are probably others, those are the common ones though. Your chipped P28 is probably not chipped correctly, I need to take a look at it.

I'm moving out of state in about a week, I'll get you straight before then with at least one of those ECUs. Sorry VA, you'll have to either ship farther or find another geek in the area.. lol

Alright on the ecu there is a orange and silver wire. that is your VTEC wire to your ECU from the solenoid. make sure that is all connected. Then check to see if you have enough oil and lastly check your Temp.

I've got the complete harness out of a 94 civic ex (interior and motor) so the vtec wire is in the harness thats not the problem, and the temp works fine i can rev it up fine when the engines cold(its not looking for the vtec yet) but once the engine reaches operating temp then it starts breaking up at around 5000 rpms and the vtec wont engage.oil is right on the line so thats fine, tonight I'm going to hook up a multimeter to the presure switch and see if its working while I'm driving. Man the sucks thought it was going to be an easy swap.

Mike where are my visors????? and i need a passenger power window switch the one i got wont roll the window up from the drivers side.
