Yes when I give it gas it does not rev at all. The needle stays still. The exhasut makes no sound, nonthing. The thing is it only happens on somewhat steep hills. Everywhere else Im all good. Thats about all the deatil I can give you. Usally after like 2 trys at hitting the gas it will go.I did post this on the EverythingCelica.com boards and they agreed it was the fuel filter. They said I would have to take out the back seats and look for something I forget.

And no I dont want a pos honda. haa haa

note: no it dosnt stall becuase my foot is on the clutch.

Might be a busted fuel injector.

ok im not real big into the celicas but quite a few new cars do not have an actual accelerator cable but rather use drive by wire technology. the throttle actuator located in the throttle body could be faulty or have a bad connection. this is just a guess...i could be wrong
