Yes you can have the bottle and and the lines hooked up but the only line that can not be hooked up is the line to the bottle.......go on line and fine the law for VA that says that and print a couple copies up and keep them in your car just in case so you can show the cop if they give you shit

OFFICIALLY,

On top of having the bottle dis-connected, you should also have the NOS hazmat sticker on your car that comes with a kit. This way, if you're ever in an accident, the fire department knows... But most cops don't check for that....

Thanks for the good info guys. The car will have nebraska plates until next may, then i'll probably register it in ohio, but i figure i'll just leave the bottle out most of the time... it's not like i'm ever gonna jump out and attach the line for a quick race.

MIR looks like a pretty nice track from their website... do people around here actually race in points events, or is it more of a test and tune crowd? i'll be looking for a day to go sometime in september if any of you have any suggestions and/or want to escort me down there.

also be sure to put as much security on your car as possible, as nova is notorious for car thefts.

i was waiting for someone to say this =P nova is a nice place to live, there are a lot of people here so you can meet pretty much anyone, but traffic sucks, fairfax cops are great at being the gayest cops ever, and honda's get stolen as if they were a bottle of water on a hot day

welcome to NOVA

MIR is the best track but there are several others. Old Dominion, Summerduck and Colonial Beach are 1/8 mile tracks. These 3 are in Va. Capitol Raceway, 75/80 and Mason Dixon are 1/4 mile tracks and they are in MD along with MIR.

What part of VA are you moving to?

You're not gonna like it in NoVA if you enjoy driving. Cops literally harass you. Traffic prohibits you from driving certain hours of the day, if you live in certain areas. We also have some of the worst drivers known to the USA, I was almost killed a number of times over the summer because people didn't feel like stopping at red lights/stop signs.
