Chevrolet 2500 - My uncle owns a ECLB 6.6 2500. As you said the ride is kinda harsh, but it handles a load really well. I like this one as well.
Ford F-150 - Drove geonfreaq's. I really liked it, but I know that 5.4 sucks some gas (my brother used to have a lifted Eddie Bauer Expedition)
Dodge 1500 - I really like my brother's QCSB. It has a smaller V8 (4.7) that doesn't too too bad on gas. It's very roomy and quiet.

I know it's not on your list, but a friend of mine has an 04 QCSB Dakota 4x4 and I have an 01 Durango SLT 4x4. Both of them have a 4.7 Magnum V8. I've driven 110 miles and burnt 1/4 of a tank. I'm sure it's gonna drop pretty hard here soon, but he says he gets about 250 miles to a full tank (26 gal) and he runs the shit out of his truck, so I know his MPG is shitty.
