Why even worry about getting the wife a quick car?

I bought a 95 gst with 124000 miles on it. I have 141,000 miles on it now. I did basic maintanance on it replaced the important stuff like belts, water pump, things of that nature and after almost 20,000 miles my car still runs strong. When I first bought the car it had the T25 in it and that turbo sucked ass even when I bought a MBC and set it at 16lbs the turbo dropped off at 5500. It spooled fast but it had no top end for shyt. I then replaced the turbo with a 14b that I bought for $125 I ported it out and set the MBC to 16lbs I even had it set to 18lbs at one point. The turbo pulls pretty decent to redline line now. Feels alot better than the T25. The only parts that have broken on my car are rusted bolts! I use to hear a lot of stories about how the reliability of the eclipse was kinda bad before I bought it but from my experience of having one for a year and half and running it hard. I haven't had any problems. Either I'm really lucky with cars or the eclipse isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. Just my 2 cents.

i can't believe low maintainance** and dsm were in the same sentence. wow i've had my gsx since feb. and ahh what a pain just the little things though. but when it does run every min. of it is fun.
