Snow tires aren't quite practical for use all winter, they are great for the day or two following a snowfall, but the roads are clear as can be all the way up until the next snowfall after the plowing and salting has stopped... until you have lived in New England, you can't fully understand the extent of how troubling it is to be an auto enthusiast there.
its almost required to have a summer and a winter vehicle, and thats not what I want to do, thats why I am leaning toward an AWD car or a 4x4 truck.
so you want class, style, and perhaps speed? My choice is the Lincoln LS V8. my friend has one and have driven it on many occasions. very nice ride with plenty of interior room. it has all the stlye and class one would need in new hampshire, not to mention its pretty quick. thats my input, good luck.

I haven't found one for under 23K. Honestly, if you're not about originality, I'd go for the 3 series Bimmer. But it'd have to be like a 2000 or 01.
