Part of the front BS bearing. Hopefully I can just eliminate the front BS and be good.

sounded like mine tell i blow it up ended up being a spun bearing.

Doesnt sound like lifter tick to me? More of a clatter

Not sure what else to check, I am kind of stumped. ANd I cant quite pinpoint exaclty where the noise is coming from. Definitely somewhere inside the head. TOok off the valve cover, but nothing foreign inside the head. Not sure where to go from here!

Nope, front balance shaft bearing. Dont ask me how it hapenned...


Crazy stuff, the bearing was just sitting on the front balance shaft getting bounced around!
