N/a vs turbo?

But if you just like to hear BOVs, then you're probably the kind who is going to rub most of us the wrong way. I'm not trying to be a dick about it, but boosting because you like the BOV just screams "ricer".

Either way is going to cost you money to make decent power. Either way will inherently be less reliable than bone stock. Either way will lower your gas mileage compares to stock.
In the end, it's going to come down to what you intend to do with the car other than just daily drive it and horsepower goals you have.
Honestly, chances are that a FI car will be faster than a NA car.

Turbo all the way...your mpg will increase and not drop like he is saying. I put a t25 on a d15 and picked up about 13 mpg on the highway. I can't tell you about around town as the car was only driven on the highway from point a to point b and that was it. Just don't boost it above what your motor will take.
It might have gone up on the highway if you're not boosting, but more air needs more fuel. If you have a proper tune, accelleration will cause your fuel consumption to increase vs a stock setup. Now, running larger injectors and a good sized turbo, I don't see any way that your fuel consumption would have gone down.
