for antifreeze, yes. they also have vacume pumps that pump out crankcase pressure into a catchca. it is a requirement to run at certain events. but then again your everyday boosted street car should never need one. stop trying to make an ass out of yourself.

 

So what about oil slosh from the valve cover under sustained cornering? Well, I guess that's not a problem for a street car, I see your point. I guess if you need a breather tank for a street car, that's one hell of a street car. Or a shitty engine design.

 

if you have so called "oil slosh" that bad under your valve cover then you got problems. lol. like filling the whole engine up with oil. i dunno. you get the point.
