Why don't you get a leaf blower and put a big hole through the fire wall and run it into the throttle body. That would be cool!!

It's been done to a VW Bug before. Saw the pics, there was apparently a vid, too. I'm thinking that would legitimately work since the little air-cooled engine doesn't need that much air to begin with.

Leaf blower puts some air out too. That's cool. I wanted to do it just for fun a long time ago. I just don't think I could handle the fumes inside the car.

Leaf blowers are meant to move air, not pressurize it. All a leaf blower would do is overcome the intake restrictions and inefficiencies, not really provide any positive pressure. Kind of like a ram air effect that works at all speeds instead of just a small speed range like ram air. SO yeah, a leaf blower could make a few HP, maybe one or two probably, it would probably self destruct after a while because of the loads on it trying to push air into a restriction.

Have you ever had one of the leaf blowers that you put on your back. That's pressure. At full throttle it's hard as hell to keep your hand over it. I am sure it would put out some PSI!

Superchargers are expensive and to small and inefficent for todays engines........Turbo is more efficent and cheaper. Not to mention that it puts down more HP and Torque.

Stop talking. As a matter of fact, just stop breathing.
