Okay....I dont know if you were aware or not.....but i had the 1988 Crx Si with the D16y8 swap. It had the D16a6 in it and i got bored with it....and it happened that my boi crashed his car in the rear (1998 civic ex) and i got the motor off of him. to do the Y8 swap Without converting it to OBD0 im not sure if your car is wired for dual point or not...so lets hope its not

-Si cable tranny(quicker gears and better then the hassle of hydro conversion)

-Use a obd0 Si dizzy and a Si intake manifold( i found the Y8 is good on pick up but dookie on top end)

- you can use the same mounts you have in your car and the same shift linkages

-Get a PR3 obd0 ECU (b16 ecu) and a vtec controller (and then run one wire vtec to have vtec hooked up)

-it should bolt right in after you do all of that

- Its really hard explaining on the computer
