He cuts me a "deal" and gives me a speeding warning, but a past due inspection ticket... which in NC is a whopping $135 In all it's the best outcome of getting pulled, the wallet is a bit lighter but oh well.

My dad told me if you are over 7 they can pull you over, under 7 they really won't mess with you. I usually go around 10 over, but I will probably change that now (my friend went 10 over and got pulled over in alexandria). And damn that's a huge inspection sticker fine, I had to pay $40 for mine and $40 for not getting emissions done.

They aren't fucking around in NC. I got pulled for 7 over like a month ago.

a lot of nc cops will pull cars with va plates, Even for as little as 5 under or even less. Thats why I make sure I dont go to far over on my trips down 95. But the worst is those towns in the middle of nowhere. I was with my mother on a trip one time "washington state" and she was going 2 miles over the speed limit and no joke the trooper gave her a ticket for going 2 over.
