They can be found alot easier and they are alot stronger than the 4l60e trannys. It would be a good idea to swap if your looking to upgrade the engine later on.
Yeah that is what i really want to do get a th350 and get a manual value body and floor shifter,but i dont know about losing the overdrive on the highway gas would suck and i know that the th350 has a tall first gear so it get's out teh hole a little slower but i am seriously thinking about it, i am going to go check the wagon at cap tommrow and see what condtion it is in. If all else fails i will probably go to like bruces or something if i could find a 4l60e that could work for a short period of time then i know i would do a th350,thanks alot for your help guys

That's all I worry about on the daily driver is the tranny... 100K miles and a 150hp wet kit = teh slip I think.
