Looking at '00 BMW 3 Series Coupe, I hope they'd finance a 5-6 year old car for that long.
I financed my TA in 04, so it was only 3 years old and I financed my Durango in 05, so it was only 4 years old.
It might depend on who you go through. My Durango is through NFCU. I heard if you get a loan through them and pay it like you're supposed too they'll loan you anything. I hope that's true because when I sell my Durango I'm gonna get a $5K personal loan.

Also, how long does it usually take to walk into a bank and get a loan..same day, few days??

Signature Loan - Yes. Based on credit and job history. These typically have higher rates.
Automotive Loan - No. They use NADA values, and they need all the information on the car. Automotive loans are better because of lower rates.
My car is automotive at 4.99%.
Depending on the day you go and the Credit institution, you can possible get it in the same day.
