The essence of the Off-Topic forum is NOT to take every thread "off-topic".

 

i didnt take any thread off topic. in the USPS thread, slowsilverteg said something about UPS' outfits being brown, and the trucks being brown, but no BROWN people worked there. i then called him a fucking idiot. my post was deleted. his completely retarded post is still there. i dont quite get it.

 

Not every thread...but sometimes threads get a little dull and need revitalization. If the make it back on-topic, good, and if not, the topic was probably dead anyway!

I guess. Hell, I don't know. I doubt there's a scientific measurement for it, but hopefully things don't get TOO restrictive with the improvements that are sure to follow.

 

That was why it was deleted. Going on a tangent in a thread is fine, it adds flavor.

But, we're trying to steer away from random insults that offer no other input to the thread. However, open warfare is still a-ok in SPO.
