im also from cali /bay area. just moved here in tha 757. also lookin for mountain/country/back roads. i probably have to head west or north. when i say touge runs, im not talkin bout drifting.

I may be giving this guy credit where it is not deserved (he has not responded so I can't tell), but everyone jumps all over anyone who uses any Japanese analogy (zenki, kouki, touge, ect). It is just easier to use one word rather than say the whole thing, and how much better does it sound to say "I'm looking for some twisty roads to drive on" anyway? I guess at least it's English, and doesn't sound I-D at all, but it is still the exact same thing.
I am not trying to have a pissing contest, just point out some of the non-retarded reasons as to why the word would be used.
