There have been a few bone stock STis hitting 12s, but granted, they know how to drive their asses off. When it comes down to it, if your up against a good driver from a dig, expect something in the low, low 13s, if a bad driver from a dig, expect anything upwards of 14s, and if from a roll, consider it a mid-high 13 second car.

 

Haha wow, if someone puts an STi in the 14s its because they have no idea how to launch.

 

I ran a Evo at the 1/8th mile track... I had a better 60 foot than the guy, but he pulled past me and put a car on me before the finish line. He ran a 9.9 something.. I ran a 10.0 at 70.3 mph... Thats pathatic.

Oh well, theres no other way to learn how to launch your car other than practicing it.

 

I jumped into a bone stock STi at the drag strip and ran an 8.4 in the 1/8th my only time ever driving the car. I could tell it was capable of more...

 

when i was at mir last yer with my stock wrx ran 14.5 with extra person and i saw 3 sti's run 14's i geuss alot of them were afraid to launch but maybe they cant drive

 

My gst beat one from a dig by like 4-5 lengths. He launched perfectly and must have gotten 5 lengths just off the line....Now given my eclipse wasn't stock, I still expected to lose....

 

So I assume your gst was deep into the 12's?
