Nice mustang, looks like you did it right.

I realize it was built for road racing primarily, but what did it run at the dragstrip?

Thanks for both compliments.

12.6 @ 118 on street tires spinning the entire way down. Jake Lamotta ran that in Florida just after installing the new engine. That was before a +20 rwhp dyno tune, had a slipping clutch, working cats, etc. With slicks, should have no problem getting into the 11's with a good driver and will trap near redline in 4th.

Like you mentioned, it was built for road racing primarily, so it hasn't been lightened for the drag strip. That would require different rear suspension and removal of that very heavy torque arm. If you really wanted to run it at the dragstrip, a supercharger on this monster would really put down some serious power. Superchargers on a road course suck, and I wanted to keep it naturally aspirated as a personal preference. With a 3.70 bore, nitrous is not recommended.

Will post this car in the Mustang Trader by the end of the month if no one wants it locally.

If you find a buyer, split 50/50 anything over $16k. If you find a buyer for $18k, you make $1000 cash.
